1206 Lot 17 - Dyrring Park Stanmore

June 2012 auction

Chestnut gelding, 9/12/08, mature 16.2 hh
Saaleck x Yellow Rain
On account of Dyrring Park

Stanmore is a lovely 3yo gelding by Saaleck, a Trakehner sporthorse, and he is bred to put his mind and gymnastic body to any discipline.

Stanmore’s dam is Yellow Rain (TB), also offered for sale in Auction of the Stars in foal to Regardez Moi (imp) (Lot 30). Bella is big and scopey, and has given rise to three stars so far. The first of her progeny went to Boyd Martin in the USA; the second, Jacinta, is forging a dressage career with Ricky Foxlee; and the third of her offspring is the stunning Little John, also offered under saddle here today at Auction of the Stars.

Stanmore has been under saddle with Stevie-Jade Shakoff for three months and appears to be a very sensible and no-fuss horse. Stanmore has three powerful and expressive paces. He has been ridden not only in the arena but also in open paddocks, over trot poles and has enjoyed lots of road and trail work. This horse accepts it all. Stanmore will mature at about 16.2hh and would suit any rider who
plans to own a serious competition horse.
